Libyans’ persistence to be modernized is undeterred by the fact that
their turbulent homeland is experiencing one of its worst adversities.
The world is overtly more interconnected than ever due to the gargantuan
influence of Internet connection. Thus, a stupendous acceptation of others’
cultures, values, and ideologies is evoking.
Libyans’ day- to-day lives have altered drastically. For instance, smart
phones germinated as a boon to almost every household. In just a few years, a myriad
influx of online users emerged, and apps such as Facebook, Whatsapp, and
Instagram commenced as prominent advantages. News, important announcements, and
various invitations swiftly distribute. Moreover, Facebook and Instagram pages
ameliorate advertising for companies, stores, and even private businesses.
Concisely, what was once unidentified now is used perpetually.
Paramount Western cultural values and impressions are approaching to Libya.
Palpably, there is an exchange between decrepit Libyan traditions and modern
innovations: especially in weddings and gatherings. The modification of style
and fashion are only a feeble comparison to the contemporary venues and cuisine.
Internally and externally, Libyans are making amends.
Progress in Libyan media production is resolute. Post revolution
television shows are displaying an utter revelation. Furthermore, there is an
obvious leap forward in the entertainment industry. Comedy shows, sitcoms, and
hidden camera pranks are the top emerging genres. “ Eyad is Libya’s first proper
sitcom from all angles such as set, ideas, filming, script, and acting to show
we can do more,” remarked Muhanned Klash, a Libyan actor. In addition, Dragunov
portrayed an astounding fictional drama set during the 2011 Libyan Revolution.
The Libyan media is currently positioning higher standards
In this day and age, Libya found entropy emphatically paramount. As the dichotomies
of good and evil struggle for sovereignty, average denizens of this North
African land endeavor to make ends meet. Whereas modernization and technology
sweep over our motherland, hindrances and impediments are also ascending. It’s up
to Libyans to conscientiously fight for the path of prosperity.
